Just a quick update that I’m almost done with the video for class. Out of all the projects I’ve done for class, this had to be the toughest one by far. But at least I learned a little about Final Cut even though I’m not a pro. It might not be the best video, but I can say that I tried making it to the best of my abilities. I’ll post it once I’m done.
Update: Almost done. I need one interview, pass by school to fix it up a bit, and turn it in. Looks good so far. Hopefully the teacher thinks the same.
All this was done in a span of a few minutes.
As I sit here pondering what my topic for class should be, I can’t help but wonder about work, school and my future. School is good. I can’t complain. I have so much time from work that I have all the time in the world for school. That makes me happy, but it also upsets me when it comes to work. You see, I work at a store called Swatch. I’ve been with the company for 2 months. My job includes me being a salesman. It’s my duty to sell to customers our products and to make it feel valuable to every single person that comes in. It all started dandy, but lately my hours have been cut. Don’t ask me why, but they have. I mean, I do come to work early every time and I do my absolute best to make sells. I treat this job as I would my career. Why? So these people say great things about me to future employers. I’m not ok with them giving me 14 hrs a week. I’m pretty sure not a lot of people would be either if they were in my shoes. For my project in class, I intend to do it for Swatch. If not at Swatch, I have ex coworkers who work at Fossil now who would be glad to participate in my project. I still don’t know yet, but I’ll have some time in the next 2 days to figure out what it’ll be based on. I’ll update everyday to explain how everything works out. Until next time.
